2026-2027 Season

Company Team Specific Policies

  • All comp team dancers must be at both Winter and Summer recitals, all regionals, convention and Nationals. Failing to attend or dropping off the team all together will result in a $700/group reblocking/choreography fee.

  • Company Team members are not permitted to attend any classes, do privates, train, or compete with another studio unless prior approval has been granted by the studio owners (Dan/Carly). Any team member found dancing elsewhere without approval will be immediately removed from the team. No refunds will be issued, and all reblocking/choreography adjustment fees will be the responsibility of the dancer/family.

Payment

All Payments for the current month are due by the 23rd of the prior month (ex: May Tuition due April 23rd) and late after the 30th.​ Weekly Late Fees will begin on the 1st of the month.

  • Everyone MUST have a VALID credit card on file. ​This card will be charged automatically on the 24th of each month. Any accounts with declined cards will receive a $15 fee per decline fee (Card will be tried weekly).

  • Accounts not paid by the 30th of every month will receive a $25 late fee each week not paid in full. Holidays or a student's absence from class does not waive this fee. Reminders will be sent out weekly when late and until paid in full.

  • Full tuition is due every month regardless of attendance and/or holidays. . Payments do not vary due to holidays or the number of weeks in a month. Tuition will NOT be prorated.​ ​

  • Tuition Can be paid in 3 ways:

    • entire season up front and receive a 10% discount.

    • in 10 Equal payments with a 6% fee added each month

    • Pay what’s due each month (total will vary/month) with no discounts or added fees.

  • Cash, Bank Account Transfers (ACH/ZELLE), Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX & Discover), and debit cards are accepted as forms of payment   (VENMO WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)

  • E-payment is offered through jackrabbit. All accounts that register online will be automatically signed up for e-payment (unless otherwise discussed with Mrs Carly) and will be used to clear all invoices (registration fee, tuition, costume fee, late fee, etc). Tuition is drafted by the 24th of the month. It is the account holder's responsibility to update all information. 

  • Missed classes will not result in prorated tuition or refund. Make-up classes may be scheduled by email for those students who miss class due to illness/injury. Missed classes must be made up within thirty days.​

  • If, for any reason, it becomes necessary to withdraw a child from a class, please notify by email (diamonddancelv@gmail.com) or speak to Mrs. Carly while in studio before the 10th of the month to avoid tuition being charged the following month. Tuition and other fees will continue to be charged until notification is given. No refunds.

  • All payments will cease at the end of the season. 

Past Due Account Policy

To ensure fairness and continuity of instruction, the following policy applies to all student and family accounts:

  • 30 Days Past Due:
    If an invoice remains unpaid 30 days from the original invoice date (e.g., invoiced January 1 and unpaid as of February 1), all private lessons will be suspended beginning the following day until the account is brought current.

  • 60 Days Past Due:
    If an invoice remains unpaid 60 days from the original invoice date (e.g., invoiced January 1 and unpaid as of March 1), the student will not be permitted to participate in any classes, rehearsals, recitals, or competitions beginning the following day until the balance is paid in full.
    Any reblocking or additional choreography required due to missed competitions or rehearsals will be billed to the account.

  • 75 Days Past Due:
    Accounts that remain unpaid 75 days from the original invoice date will be referred to a collections agency unless a payment plan has been established.

Timely payment is essential to avoid interruptions in instruction and participation. If you have questions or need to discuss your account, please contact Carly promptly.

Missed Private Policy

  • First time, 24hrs+ notice, emergency situations

    • Reschedule, No Penalty.

  • First time, <24hrs (Sickness)

    • 50% Charged

  • Chronic cancellation or No Call/No Show

    • Full Price Charged

Dress Requirement

Ballet: Pink Tights, Black Leotard, Pink Ballet Shoes and Hair in Bun

Hip Hop: Baggy Clothing and Tennis Shoes

Jazz Classes: Tan Canvas Jazz Shoes and form fitting dance clothes

Tap Classes: Black Tap Shoes

*Class appropriate dance attire is required for all classes unless noted above.

Attendance

No refunds or deductions are given for missed classes or when studio is closed for holidays.  Good attendance is essential to the child's progress. Your child may attend another section of his/her class during the week to make up a missed class.

Parent Code of Conduct

Purpose

Our studio is committed to providing a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all dancers, families, instructors, staff, and guests. This Parent Code of Conduct outlines expectations for behavior to ensure that every dancer has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed in a supportive atmosphere.

Enrollment at the studio constitutes agreement to follow this policy.

General Expectations

Parents, guardians, family members, and guests are expected to:

· Treat all dancers, instructors, staff, and other families with respect and courtesy at all times

· Support the studio’s mission, policies, and decisions

· Act as positive role models for all dancers

· Communicate concerns calmly, privately, and respectfully

Respect for Instructors & Staff

· Instructors’ teaching methods, choreography, casting, and corrections are not open for public discussion or debate

· Parents may not interrupt classes, rehearsals, or competitions

· Concerns must be addressed directly with the studio owners, not instructors during class time

· Disrespectful, aggressive, or confrontational behavior toward staff will not be tolerated

Classroom & Facility Etiquette

· Parents are expected to remain in designated waiting/viewing areas

· Do not enter classrooms unless invited by staff

· No coaching, corrections, or instruction from outside the classroom

· Refrain from gossip, negative commentary, or comparisons between dancers

· Cursing or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and can lead to expulsion from the studio.

· Respect studio property and keep common areas clean

Competition & Event Behavior

When representing the studio at competitions, conventions, performances, or events:

· Parents and guests must display sportsmanship, professionalism, and respect

· No negative remarks about judges, competitors, other studios, or event staff

· Cursing or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and can lead to expulsion from the studio.

· Follow all competition rules and studio guidelines

· Social media posts must reflect the studio in a positive and respectful manner

Failure to follow conduct expectations at events may result in removal from the venue or future event restrictions.

Communication Policy

· All concerns should be communicated directly and privately to studio ownership (Dan and Carly)

· Public complaints, group chats, social media posts, or sideline discussions are not acceptable

· Allow reasonable time for responses; immediate responses outside business hours are not guaranteed

· Disagreements should be handled constructively and professionally

· Cursing or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and can lead to expolsion from the studio.

Social Media Conduct

Parents and families are expected to:

· Avoid posting negative or inflammatory content about the studio, staff, dancers, or other families

· Respect dancer privacy and studio branding

· Understand that online behavior reflects on the studio community as a whole

· Cursing or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and can lead to expulsion from the studio.

Zero Tolerance Behavior

The following behaviors may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the studio:

· Verbal abuse, cursing, harassment, or intimidation

· Disruptive behavior during classes or events

· Bullying (including online or indirect behavior)

· Undermining instructors or studio leadership

· Repeated violations of studio policies

Consequences

The studio reserves the right to take appropriate action for violations of this policy, including but not limited to:

· Verbal or written warning

· Temporary suspension from classes or events

· Removal from competitive teams

· Termination of enrollment without refund

Acknowledgment

By enrolling a dancer at the studio, parents and guardians acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Parent Code of Conduct.

Bullying Policy

Purpose

Our studio is committed to providing a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all dancers, families, instructors, staff, and guests. This bullying policy outlines expectations for behavior to ensure that every dancer has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed in a supportive atmosphere.

Enrollment at the studio constitutes agreement to follow this policy.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
At Diamond Dance Studio, we have zero tolerance for bullying in or outside the studio. This is the only warning a dancer will receive.

Consequences:

  • 1st Offense: Immediate 1-week suspension from the studio. All solos will be permanently removed.

  • 2nd Offense: Permanent removal from Diamond Dance Studio.

We are a team, and we are a family. Bullying in any form will never be tolerated and will always be taken extremely seriously. Every dancer’s responsibility is to:

  • Be a supportive teammate

  • Uplift and encourage peers

  • Show respect to teachers and the studio

Together, we create a safe, positive, and inspiring environment where everyone can thrive.
